In this post we are going to look at how you can setup any type of Discord message, whether that is a standard text message, or embed style message to hit any channel on your server every hour using our bot, dotNotify.
How To Schedule Hourly, Or Custom Hourly Discord Messages
Firstly, to be able to have message automatically send to your Discord server at specified times, you will need a bot to do the work for you.

Schedule Hourly Reminders On Your Discord Server In Just 5 Easy Steps.
Step 1:
Once you have our bot installed, navigate to the “Create” tab on the left hand side. You can also choose our “Embed” option too, if you would prefer to create an embed style reminder message.
Step 2:
Create your message. Here you will have a full real time preview as you create and format your message. You can use all Discord ready markdown with our full easy to use edito.
If you are creating an embed style message, you will see many different fields and options to create exactly what you want.
Step 3:
Once you are happy with your message, you then need to choose a start time, and start date. That can be today, or any day in the future. This will be when your message first starts sending.Â
You can also select the channel you would like the message delivering too.
Step 4:
To setup an hourly or custom hourly automated Discord message, you will need to check the “Setup reminder message” checkbox.
This will drop down all available interval options for your reminder message. You can schedule a daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly reminder for free, and to unlock the hourly options, you will need a premium subscription with dotNotify.
Step 5:
To setup a standard hourly message, you just need to check the hourly option and set an end date (this would be the date the message stops sending).Â
If you want to customise your hourly messages to send every “X” number of hours, select “Custom hourly” and you will have the choice of how often you want the message to sending in hours.
