The dotNotify 2023 Recap!

From Bot Updates, New Features & Amazing Feedback. Here’s What We Did In 2023!

We launched dotNotify in March 2023. We have always had one aim with our Discord bot, and that is to allow Discord server owners to better manage their announcements, reminders and server messaging.

It wasn’t just about being able to create a reminder, or embed message for example, but, being able to do this with a full dashboard and preview editor, to make it easier to create great announcements and reminders for your server.

We also wanted to make it easier to manage announcements and reminders too, which is again fully driven by our intuitive dashboard.

Thank You To All Of Our Users! We Are Discord Verified, & Now In Over 1700 Servers!

Firstly, we just wanted to say a huge “Thank You” to all of our users. Not only is it great to see our app and bot is helping over 1700 server owners with announcments and reminders, but, the feedback we have had has been amazing.

This is just the beginning! 

From great reviews and messages, to some incredible feedback too, which has allowed us to further improve and add amazing features to dotNotify over the course of the year.

What Did We Add To dotNotify In 2023?

If you signed up to test out dotNotify earlier in the year, well, lots has changed and you may now see features you wished we had when you first connected.

We have improved many areas of our app and bot over the course of 2023. This included lots of UI improvements to make it much easier to manage the bot, and create messages.

Alongside countless UI improvements, in 2023 we also released more message management features, such as 1 click copy of messages, and the ability to edit any message in 1 click too.

We also added more felexibility on our reminder scheduling, opening up more scheduling frequencies, including custom options too.

One of our biggest releases happened right at the end of the year, where we added the option to create your own custom message sending bot too. So, you can customize your own bots avatar and name. This was our biggest feature request in 2023, and we shipped it right at the end.

Looking Forward To 2024! We Have A Ton Of New Features Planned!

We have a giant list of improvements and features to tackle in 2024. We have had tons of feedback on new features our users want to see, and we will be delivering on a lot of those. 

We want to improve message management in our app and make it easier to manage lots of messages, much more quickly. We will be looking at how you can “Quick Edit” important settings much more quickly.

We also want to look at templates too, making it even quicker to create announcements and reminders.

On top of this, we also have an AI feature we have been working on, and also, more message analytics too. How can we enable you to see how your messages, announcements and reminders are performing in your server?

We have some ideas. 

2024 is set to be a year of more features. Stay tuned!
